In 1933 Georges-Alidor Boulet, who had previously worked for a men’s shoe factory, established “G.A Boulet Inc.” in the town of St-Tite, QC., Canada. This small town of only four thousand people was known for the quality of its labour and was often called “The Leather Town” for its production of various products made of first quality leather.

During the Second World War, due to the quality of its production and AAA quote from the Canadian government, Boulet was commissioned by the army to produce all military footwear.

In the early 1960s the second generation of Boulet’s: Roger, Reynald, and Robert who had been working at the company since they were kids, took over the management of the company.

Today Boulet Inc., who was the first company to produce cowboy boots in Canada, remains specialized 100% in Goodyear Welt construction. It is still the largest cowboy boot factory in Canada with one of the biggest selections on the market. Now managed by the third generation: Pierre, Guy and Louis, they have maintained the tradition of excellence which makes Boulet one of the best in the country.

Willies Western Wear is proud to be the sole supplier of Boulet Boots in Williams Lake, BC
